There are tons of lead generation companies out there that use to use (and may still use) old fashioned lead generation techniques such as post card mailers, the telephone, door to door sales and all sorts of stuff.
Heck, I’ve even stood outside of a store at one point in my life to make sales.
Today is a different world.
The battle for leads is now being fought online and if you don’t know your way around the digital lead generation town, you’re essentially screwing yourself out of thousands of dollars.
I see it everyday.
Doctors (you know…they’re suppose to be super smart?) all the way down to Limousine Drivers and Junk Haulers…..all of them continue to think that they can get by without worrying about their local online presence.
I mean, what do you do right? You have a website! Isn’t that good enough?
It’s the plain hard cold truth.
The good news is that you can fix it.
Fix it by finding someone who completely dominates your part of the world.
Don’t, by all means, go with someone who calls you on the phone halfway across the globe telling you they can get you on the front page of google when they don’t even know two Hershey squirts about your business.
You have to treat your online website just like the front office of your medical practice or your auto body shop.
There is NO WAY you are going to beat your competition if you don’t have (and are pay) what it takes to ensure your company is well taken care of within the virtual settings of this world.
Trust me on this.
Seo Experts in the United States who actually know what they are doing in your local market are few and far between.
I came across a women the other day who owns a small business and just signed a contract for a company called hibu. She’s paying $500 a month for them to help her with her social media (which she had already set up).
It astounded me because she also owns a website that Hibu is not touching at all.
This business owner is bailing out a TON of cash for hardly any investment back into her own business and she is failing miserably.
She’s losing money to a company that somehow convinced her that they would help her.
When I asked her if it increased her business over the last three months, you know what she said?
Oh my. $1200.00 gone. That could have bought her new equipment to invest back into her company.
If you are reading this post because you want to know if you should hire a SEO company or someone to help you with lead generation….know this:
SEO, done correctly, can make your website into a lead generation machine and pay your company back for years and years to come.
So how do you find a reputable SEO company?
That’s a hard one.
The best way?
Find someone who knows someone (like me) or look for companies in your town that seem to have a good web presence and ask them who they had helping them.
If no one is helping them and you want to beat them, give me call.
I’m not claiming to be the best SEO person out there (even though I am) but I do know a lot about what I am doing and I’m confident that if you find a SEO web optimization specialist that knows what I know (yes…they do exist) then you will be well on your way to saving your online web presence and bringing your website into the 21st century. (It’s about time!)
